To understand the above statement, it is necessary to understand what is meant by "Free Will". In the Spirit World there is Free Will and when a Spirit decides to have a life on the earth plane Free Will remains a part of it.

Free Will is the right to make your own decisions and to live with the consequences, whether good or bad, of those decisions. Even people who suffer hardship and have fewer choices in life, still have the freedom to decide how they will react to their circumstances.

If you did not have Free Will you would learn nothing from your life experience. Every part of your life experience on earth is a learning experience and what you learn from it is shared when you return home to Spirit.

This means that you alone have the right to make the decisions that affect your life. It also means that you have a burden of responsibility to make sure that those decisions are made from the best of intentions and do not deliberately cause harm to others.

It is unavoidable that sometimes you will have to make decisions that will adversely affect others. What matters in such situations is how you do this. If you have given the matter great thought and carried out your decision in such a way as to minimise the damage caused you will have done your best at that time.

Laws

There are laws on the earth plane that have been established to try to ensure the smooth running of society and the safety of citizens. Breaking those laws carries penalties to be paid. Sometimes, however, laws are broken with great harm caused as a result and the perpetrators are either not caught or not able to be brought to justice due to a lack of proof of their wrong doing.

The Spirit World has laws too and although these people may appear to go unpunished while on the earth plane, they will have to take responsibility for what they have done when they return to Spirit. They will have to see and understand what they did wrong and will have to truly repent and work to correct it before they are able to continue their Spiritual progression. The right to be wrong

This brings us to "the right to be wrong". Sometimes you will have to watch someone you care about make a decision that you feel to be wrong for them. Although you are right to contribute your ideas and opinions in order to try to help them to make the correct decision that is all you can do. You cannot force anyone to follow your advice and it would be wrong if you could - how they live their life has to be their free choice and even if they make a wrong decision, they have the right to get it wrong and live with the consequences.

Properly and responsibly used Free Will gives the opportunity to live an effective and useful earthly life and as such has great value.
